Film & TV Location
In 1984, Brighton City Airport was used to film scenes set at Singapore Airport for the popular BBC TV series, Tenko. It was also used in various episodes of the series Poirot in 1990, 1992 and the year 2000.
Then, in 2005, Brighton City Airport was transformed into ‘Le Bourget Airport’ in France, to be used in the multi million pound blockbuster The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks. In 2013, the airport was featured in The Woman in Gold, starring Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds, produced by BBC Films. More recently the Airport has also featured in an acclaimed Netflix production.
Music Events
In June 2015, 2016 and 2017, Brighton City Airport played host to the Wild Life festival, curated by Disclosure and Rudimental. The festival has featured some fantastic acts including George Ezra, Bastille, Busta Rhymes, Sam Smith and many more.
